Green Chili Stew

Green Chili Stew
I won first place in the Springfield Neighborhood Chili contest with this recipe
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 cubes chicken boullion
- 1 14 oz can chicken
- 1 24 oz can of hominy
- 1 14½ oz can of diced chili and tomatoes
- 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large potato, diced
- 1 can pinto beans or 1 cup cooked
- 2 small cans green chiles
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- jalapeños (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Simmer and stir for 1 hour.
